    Client Testimonial

    Bespoke walking tour of Leith.

"I was looking for something a little bit different for myself and three out-of-town friends to do as part of our annual get-together. Hetty made everything easy to organise and was happy to finish our tour near the restaurant where we had booked our lunch.

Wonderfully researched and amazingly well delivered our tour was good fun and highly informative. We all enjoyed our morning immensely and I couldn’t recommend Hetty more highly!"

  • Three Reasons

    to walk with me...

Famous for its dramatic historical events and notorious characters Edinburgh has so much more to offer.

For over 900 years it's been home to thousands of ordinary people (many with extraordinary stories to tell) as well as a place of world changing developments in economics, philosophy, literature, medicine and more.

Edinburgh's history is more than royal castles, quaint cobbled streets, gruesome ghosts and cute scotty dogs.

I want to take you beyond Edinburgh's popular Instagram image and typical tourist-tales to uncover the history of the city itself - from its tiny, medieval beginnings to the vibrant, cultural capital it is today.

Hidden corners plus stunning views make Edinburgh a perfect city for exploring on foot.

With its compact city centre, diverse range of architecture and dramatic landscape Edinburgh I can help you discover one of the most beautiful and engaging cities in Europe.
